Your generosity helps Easterseals provide help, hope and answers to people living with autism and other disabilities and the family members. Easterseals North Texas currently provides over 5,000 local children and adults with quality, person-centered services and support. Contributions from individuals, corporations, foundations, and government grants assist in funding programs, ensuring that lack of financial resources does not exclude an individual from receiving services.
Autism Treatment Program
Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy is provided to children, ages 2-15 years,
who have been diagnosed with an Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Under the direct supervision of Board Certified Behavior Analysts, children learn skills throughone-on-one instruction and group activities. The Autism Treatment Program is offered at our North Dallas and Fort Worth Centers. This program is partially funded by the Texas Health and Human Services Commission.
Child Development Program
Child Development Program, children of all abilities learn and grow together.
Developmentally appropriate curricula, experiences, and activities lead to a successful transition into kindergarten. Our inclusive preschool program is a full replication of the Walden Early Childhood Center developed by Dr. Gail McGee, emphasizing engagement, language, and social skill development. The program includes Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy, under the supervision of Board Certified Behavior Analysts, and kindergarten preparation. We accept children 6 weeks to 6 years of age at our North Dallas Center.
CLASS Case Management Program
Children and adults who qualify for this Medicaid waiver program select Easterseals
North Texas to be their preferred Community Living Assistance and Support Services (CLASS) Case Management Agency. Case managers support individuals by developing their service plans, overseeing services, and advocating on their behalf. This program is for individuals of all ages receiving or eligible for Medicaid waivers in 19 North Texas counties. This program is funded by the Texas Health and Human Services Commission.
Employment Services Employment Services
Helps job seekers with disabilities, over 16 years of age, in Tarrant and Dallas counties find and
maintain meaningful employment. Many individuals benefit from our assistance and connections with local employers. Services include: Disability Employment Navigator, Employment Network Ticket
to Work, Supported Employment, and Job Placement. This program is partially funded by the Texas Workforce Commission.
Outpatient Rehabilitation
Outpatient Rehabilitation Services help individuals learn new skills, improve function, and gain greater independence. Services include evaluation and treatment for Speech-Language Therapy, Physical Therapy, and Occupational Therapy. We provide individualized, center-based therapy, as well as specialty groups at our North Dallas Center.
Work Incentives Planning & Assistance Program (WIPA)
Through the social security administration’s work incentives planning & assistance program, we can help SSI/SSDI beneficiaries including those who are working with the Texas Workforce Commission Vocational Rehabilitation Services, learn how their benefits will be affected by employment. Adults over the age of 18, living in 16 North Texas countries, are eligible for this program. This section of the brochure printed at U.S. taxpayer expense.
